Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan studied at the National School of Drama in New Delhi and started his career in theatre and television, mainly soaps and historical dramas. Khan’s break-through came when London-based director Asif Kapadia cast him as the lead in ‘The Warrior’, a historical film set in India. It was well-received at international film festivals and won Khan international recognition. 

Recently Khan has been seen in ‘The Namesake’, ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, alongside Angelina Jolie in Michael Winterbottom’s film ‘A Mighty Heart’ and in Danny Boyle’s award-winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
