Jan Wiig

Jan Wiig was born and raised in Norway and graduated from the Norwegian Governmental Theater School. He has been working with the Ibsen Theatre since 1986 and has performed at all the major theatres in Norway, as well as for Film and Television.

Jan has performed all of the lead roles in all of Ibsen’s plays and in addition has played Hamlet in Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’, Fagin in ‘Oliver Twist’, George in ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’ and Eddie Carbone in ‘A View from the Bridge’ by Arthur Miller.
